If you are interested in benchmarking tools, you may also try AsBench. This is a SCSI only benchmark tool that uses the ASPI interface. There is a DOS version and a Win32 console version (for Win95 and WinNT). The C sources are included.
It was originally written by Tsuru-Zoh, and I've made the Win32 version.
